The Adze is perfect for what I need. The two-foot handle is the right length (for me anyway) standing astride a 10 inch timber. With the blade angle closer to parallel with the handle, it's a more controlled drawing stroke instead of swinging a broad arch with a more perpendicular blade. It can also leverage the cut better. Fine forging and definitely superior to the manufactured carpenter's adze's advertised online that look like repurposed rogue hoes.

Merci Dan pour cette herminette. J'ai pris en option le fourreau en cuir, ce qui a pris plus de temps, mais ça valait la peine d'attendre car il est très bien fait, du bel ouvrage. L'outil en lui même est exactement comme décrit, magnifique. J'espère juste que j'arriverai à garder le tranchant aussi bien aiguisé, car c'est un rasoir ! Merci.

Moje ime je Dan, sem kovač rezil iz Slovenije, Evropa.
Živim v majhni gorski vasi, kjer sem si zgradil lastno kovačijo. Izdelujem vrhunska, večna orodja za mizarje, kovače, lovce in ljubitelje narave.
Pomen imena Noric Steel:
Za ime svoje znamke sem izbral »Noric Steel« zaradi njegove zgodovinske vrednosti.
Na območju današnje Slovenije je nekoč obstajalo keltsko kraljestvo Norikum, znano po izdelavi najkakovostnejšega jekla – tako cenjenega, da so ga stari Rimljani uvažali za izdelavo svojega orožja.
Ime tako predstavlja kakovost in tradicijo, ki ju želim nadaljevati tudi v svojem delu.
Kovaštvo in taljenje rude sta bila na teh tleh prisotna že od nekdaj – in duh te tradicije še danes živi v vsakem mojem izdelku.
